Rebecca (Becky) Armstrong worked in the School of Nursing on two separate assignments; first as team secretary for the First Year Nursing program from 1983-1987 and later from 2001-2013 as Secretary to Directors Dr. Sally Thorne and Dr. Suzanne Campbell. Highlights of her career in the School of Nursing include working on the School’s 85th Anniversary celebration in 2004 and working alongside a legion of dynamic faculty, staff and students, many who became lasting friends. She also held roles as Secretary to Head, UBC Hospital Psychology and Executive Assistant to Interim President, UBC. In 2013, Becky moved to the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Applied Science where she worked as Executive Assistant to the Dean until her retirement in 2018. She remains a proud supporter of all things UBC School of Nursing. |  |
