The School of Nursing was deeply saddened to hear of the death of Corey Attwell, a graduate of the BSN class of 2014.

Corey was an excellent student in the UBC Nursing program and stood out because of his passion and outspokenness. He made important contributions to the School based on his commitment and sensitivity to complex equity issues. During his time in the School and after graduation, it was clear that he felt privileged to be a nurse. Among his places of employment as a nurse were a hospital, a clinic for young addicts, and a health clinic in Vancouver’s east end. Our deep condolences to his family and friends. He will be remembered.
